Kami?

I’m Kami! I’m from Whitesburg, Georgia, but I’ve lived in Puebla, Mexico since January 2010. While studying management at Georgia Tech from 2004-2008, I was involved with a student ministry called Christian Campus Fellowship, found out about Globalscope, and spent a semester as an exchange student right here in Puebla. I loved learning Spanish, Mexican food, sunny weather, and the friendliest culture on earth, so I moved back here almost 3 years later after 2 campus ministry stints in Atlanta, at GTCCF and Point University.

Our ministry is called El Pozo (The Well), and here, university students are experiencing the life-changing love of Jesus Christ through relationships with Him and one another. I’m currently serving by writing and speaking for ministry events, leading El Pozo’s 2 interns during the 2011-2012 school year, dusting off my business degree to keep El Pozo financially sound, and leading the best team of campus ministers around.

When I’m not working, I like reading, running, and fantasy football. I’m almost always drinking a cup of coffee and listening to music. I love traveling and don’t do enough of it, but I will go to every state in Mexico before it’s all said and done.
